TAKS Time Is Here! Here is a Strategy for Review

It is time for TAKS Review. For TAKS Objectives 1, 2, and 3, you are covered with the Professor Paul Show. Here is one way, you can review.

1.) Have all your students take the Pre-Tests for Lectures 1-24.

2.) If a score of 85 is obtained, go to the next Lecture, otherwise, have your students listen to the entire lecture and take it very slow. Have them Print out their lecture slides and notes and highlight everything that Professor Paul emphasizes.

3.) Have your students take the Post Test. Now, with the songs and the lecture notes fresh on your student's minds, they should be able to take the Post Test and do well on it.

4.) Between now and April 1, have your students review one lecture at a time daily until all 25 lectures are covered.

5.) It would be wise to have your students take the Post Tests again between April 1 and April 20th. By having your students review the lectures twice, they should be okay with the content that is required.

6.) Play special emphasis on the lectures on Cell Structure, Osmosis and Cell Permiablility, Animal and Plant Cells, Mitosis, Meiosis, DNA and RNA, Protein Synthesis, and Mendelian Genetics.

7.) Have them take a Released TAKS Test from the previous year. That practice test will bring to light what objectives each individual student needs to review.

Good Luck and Jam Out the TAKS Test! The songs attached to the lectures will help every student master the objective.
